National Night Out
Join us in October 4, 2008 from 6-9pm as we partner with the Copperas Cove Police Department to kick off
National Night Out. Downtown comes alive with a rock climbing wall and games
for youngsters, McGruff, great food and a chance to climb aboard City police
cars and fire trucks.
City-Wide Garage Sale
First Saturday in June. This year, the event will be held on June 7, 2008. Over fifty folks display their wares — everything
from delicate figurines and wind chimes to used furniture. It's fun and
everyone leaves with a bargain. Click here to
download an application to sell your stuff at the Garage Sale.
Independence Day Decorating Contest
The Copperas Cove Downtown Association is sponsoring
an Independence Day Decorating Contest for all Copperas Cove Businesses.
Show your patriotism by decorating your business in red, white and blue. The
best decorated business in Copperas Cove will win $100. Judging by a group
of our own Fort Hood soldiers will take place on July 2. There is no cost to
participate; just let us know you want your business to be included for
judging.
Click here to download the registration form.
Be sure to return it to the Copperas Cove Downtown Association by June 27,
2008.
Safe Halloween Celebration
On October
31, Downtown merchants
stock up with lots of goodies and open their doors to area children. Carnival games are nearby. It's the most concentrated
display of Cinderellas and goblins in Central Texas. Even if your business
is not downtown, you can still participate.

Krist Kindl Markt
What started as a
great Chamber of Commerce project expanded with the Downtown Association
taking over the leadership role in partnership with the Chamber. This
three-day event the first weekend in December draws over 10,000 people and
more than 100 vendors—a wonderful Christmas shopping adventure with band and
choir concerts. For vendor
information, click here.
Copperas Cove 128th Birthday Celebration
