1) The information booth will be
set up at the corner of Avenue E and Main Street. Report there for your booth
assignment.
2) Absolutely NO
sale or distribution of any fireworks, noise makers, poppers or water toys
that youngsters might use to be disruptive. All items for sale must be legal
for sale according to city, state or federal guidelines.
3) Please stay within the dimensions of the space you were given. All sales
are confined to your booth (no walking around).
4) Spaces are assigned by the Krist Kindl Committee. Every effort will be made
to accommodate requests in the order they are received. However, keep in mind
that many requests are made and not all can be accommodated.
Space assignment will be made at
check-in time.
5) Vendors are required to provide all necessary equipment and supplies (e.g.
extension cords, sand bags, tables, etc.) required for the safe operation of
their booths. Water points are available for containerized use. Extension
cords must be taped/secured to the ground to avoid tripping. We require
12-gauge extension cords. No electric space heaters will be allowed. Please
make the appropriate provisions that your tents will be well-secured.
6) Food Vendors: The City of Copperas Cove requires a Food Handler’s Permit
for any person employed or working in a food establishment who handles food
and/or drink during any time, for public consumption. Please contact Code
Enforcement at 254-547-2514 to be sure you are in compliance with City Code
requirements.
7) No RVs will be allowed in or near the vendor areas. There are spaces
available for self-contained RVs only on a limited basis. If interested, call
254-542-2719. Lodging information is available from the Copperas Cove Chamber
of Commerce and Visitors’ Bureau at 254-547-7571.
8) You are responsible for keeping
your area clean. No pets are allowed. Please bring extra trash receptacles to ensure your customers
have easy access to waste disposal.
9) Electricity is limited, please plan to use only one outlet. There will be
an additional charge for extra outlets.
10) Set up time is Friday, November 30 from noon to 4pm. No vendors will be
allowed to set up before or after this time and all vehicles must be off the
street by 4pm, Friday, November 30 and cannot return until after 3pm Sunday,
December 2. Opening ceremonies will begin at 6:30pm on Friday.
11) The Krist Kindl Committee reserves the right to ask any vendor to leave
the premises for any conduct/behavior/practice which it deems detrimental to
the orderly and safe operation of the festival.
12) Scheduled hours of operation are:
Friday, December 5: 6pm to 9pm
Saturday, December 6: 9am to 9pm
Sunday, December 7: 9am to 3pm
13) The Copperas Cove Chamber of Commerce, Krist Kindl Committee, Downtown
Association, City of Copperas Cove and/or their agents or sponsors are exempt
from any liability to person or property. Each vendor is required to obtain
and be in possession of his/her own liability insurance.
