1). The information booth will be
set up at the corner of Avenue E and Main Street. At any time during this event
you can report there for assistance.
2). Absolutely no sale or
distribution of any fireworks, noise makers, poppers, marshmallows for
marshmallow guns, or water toys that youngsters might use to be disruptive. All
items for sale must be legal according to city, state and federal guidelines.
3). Vendors seeking to promote
political expression, religious or social commentary, or special interest groups
will not be accepted.
4). All sale items must be
contained within the 12 x 12 assigned area. If the merchandise or equipment
extends past the 12 x 12 area, the vendor will be required to purchase another
space.
5). Spaces are assigned by the
Krist Kindl Committee. Every effort will be made to accommodate requests in the
order they are received. Keep in mind that many requests are made and not all
can be accommodated.
6). Vendors are required to
provide all necessary equipment and supplies (for example: extension cords,
sandbags, tables, etc.) required for the safe operation of their booths. Water
points are available for containerized use. All extension cords must be ran in
gutter parallel to the curb up to point of electric box. Cords must be taped /
secured to the ground to avoid tripping. We require 12 gauge extension cords. NO
ELECTRIC SPACE HEATERS ARE ALLOWED. Please make the appropriate provisions to
ensure that your tent is secure.
7). No RV’s will be allowed in or
near the vendor area. There are spaces available for self contained RV’s only on
a limited basis at the City Park. If interested call 254-542-2719. Lodging
information is available from the Copperas Cove Chamber of Commerce and Visitors
Bureau at 254-547-7571.
8). You are responsible for
keeping your area clean. Absolutely no animals will be allowed in the event
area.
9). Electricity is limited. Food
vendors will receive one 220 plug and one 110 plug, craft vendors will receive
one 110 plug. Each booth will be issued a tag to identify their electric cords.
There will be an additional charge for additional electricity as outlets are
available.
10). The Krist Kindl Committee
reserves the right to ask any vendor to leave the premises for any conduct /
behavior / practice which it deems detrimental to the orderly and safe operation
of the festival.
11). AT NO TIME DURING SET UP,
DURING THE FESTIVAL, OR DURING TEAR DOWN, ARE YOU ALLOWED TO SET ANYTHING
ON THE SIDEWALKS. This includes sitting in chairs behind your booth. Sidewalks
are to be kept clear at all times. During set up all vehicles must be parked
within the festival area and not on private property.
12). Set up will be Friday
December 4th from 6am to 4pm. Your set up time will be assigned in
your acceptance letter. No vendors will be allowed to set up before or after
this time and all vehicles must be off the road by 4:00 pm and cannot return
until after 3 pm on Sunday December 6th.
13). The Copperas Cove Chamber of
Commerce, Krist Kindl Committee, Downtown Association, City of Copperas Cove
and/or their agents or sponsors are exempt from any liability to person or
property.
